Dial in time?

whoLEEoh 01-19-2011 06:41 PM

What time were the Evo times running for u beating them with a 14.4?

CrownR426 01-19-2011 07:56 PM

No way I'm hoping I see at least 12.5

Brazilbro 01-19-2011 09:50 PM

its bracket racing guys.. you tell them the time u want to run and your try and get as close as possible to that time without going faster.. its a staged run with the slower car going first then the faster car going a sec or 2 or 3 later depending on the dial time differences

tyler20c 01-19-2011 10:00 PM

Oh yes I knew that. I think thats really stupid. Just sayin...

chuckd05 01-20-2011 12:06 AM

11 second evo

and a stock x with a "boost pill" and upgraded clutch and flywheel

and this was my first time doing 1/4 rwd so SORRY for the slow times :bowrofl:

tyler20c 01-20-2011 10:51 AM

Did you get a chance to do any runs with a launch to see what it will really run?

ScGRaceR 01-21-2011 11:40 AM

no dude haha i didnt have any passes after my 3 practices so after it was all over the track was closed. ill make it back eventually to make more passes

I personally like bracket racing; at least for when I'm just going out to have some fun. It's not fun to go out to the track knowing you have no hope at all. Honestly though I've only ever done test and tunes but I think bracket racing is pretty fun to watch, seeing a slow car get a 2-3 second head start and watching the fast car reel them in by the end is pretty fun to watch. That said I also like watching the nonbracket stuff, but even then they are running relatively similar times so it is still a drivers race

So can you say "1 minute" and then drive the 1/4 mi at 15mph? I bet I could hit one minute on the nose every time. Your trophy is mine next time!

Joking aside, congrats on the win.
