I have a shoei open face SNELL + DOT approved helmet - use it for the track - only problem is you need to also have some form of eye cover so if you got some sunglasses you will be all good. And since its not a full face - it breathes AWESOME - except it cost a fuckload

I'm going to look at the bandit this weekend. Summit racing is right down the road.

That was my dog. Non replaceable . Name was Hiedi. Was a ex police dog we got from someone. Had for years. I love German Shepards. There the only dog to have. I plan to get another when I have lots of time to train.

I like German Shepard's, great dogs and easy to train.

A couple of places are having blow outs on overstock SA 2005 helmets. Here's one. Sizes are pretty much limited to tiny and huge at this point.

I just might call them. Might be my calling there. I wear a small, almost a medium. Depends on the make. 22'' is my head size.

Here is my helmet. Not most peoples' first choice, but it is a free loaner from the US Army.

SPOHN 01-11-2011 10:33 PM

Now that's what I'm talking about. Props to you. Real helmet there. Thanks for what you do.

Forever? No. Many clubs inspect your helmet, and as most of the helmets being sold right now are SA2005 they are going to expire in 2015.
.

Oh come on' you all know what I mean. Who throws away their helmets??

Yes I am well aware of the saftey requirements but this guy is planning on doing a few events a year. That means mostly HPDE's which we all know usually let you on w/ motorcycle helmets, and rarely check to see the date on the helmets. I've been doing events for years and I know your at the track often as well Chris, so I know your familuar with how many guys are on track without the "proper" saftey gear (expired helmets, moto helmets, etc)

I'm just saying you can find a GP5S and GP5W's for few hundered more than the mentioned helmets and they are worth every penny, in fit, finish, and they look amazing!

Do it! You won't be dissapointed

If Arai, is completely out of the question. HJC has a some really aforadable options or a Sparco for a few $$ more.

P.S the Dog pic is Great!! =)
