:icon17: not me!

But the color looks awesome! Even though few may think my input on the color is a little biased! :p

Thats a helluva autocross circuit!

Hmmm, don't see a class sticker on the car. Is the 370Z in B Stock like the 350Z?

It's frustrating when results or times are posted without any sort of context.. :(

So I did the research myself :) Here's the results page: http://www.scsportscar.com/content/a...307&Report=fin

His "first place" was in a novice class. Had he been in BS, he would have been second; however, they have a pro class that takes away from the regular classes. Overall, he was 51st out of 151 in Pax.

While, if he was on street tires second place in that field looks really good. Were you on street tires? How do you feel personally about your runs? Could you have done better? I am really curious about the Z's performance in autocross, if I buy one I would definitely be autocrossing it, hopefully winning national titles!

You guys think there were enough light poles on that course?

dustyroads 03-20-2009 01:47 PM

A big factor in how good a Z will be in autocross (stock class) will be it's ability to be aligned with a lot of negative camber. It is my understanding that the old 350 had a serious stock camber problem. I read the scanned 370 owners manual and it said that the front was capable of -1.4 and the back more than -2.0. I could be wrong but I think this is pretty good. Anyone had their 370 aligned yet? What was the range?

I think you misread. The factory specification says that front camber should be between -1.4 and whatever. The front camber cannot be aligned, there is no adjustment. The rear is adjustable however.

Good thing he got first.
Would've been sad if he didnt...

I seriously l-o-l'd @ "Lambergotti Fasterossa."

I'm guessing it was an actual Lambo with an owner that had a sense of humor (and a simpsons dvd collection)?

A couple of other observations from that link:

Toyota Yaris beating an ep3 civic Si. That's just funny.

s130 taking an STi.. Awesome.

I completely understand that this all comes down to driver skill, but it's funny seeing some of that regardless.
