another win for the Z, hell to the yeah! when are yall gonna slap some turbos on that bad boy?

sylenze 04-16-2010 10:20 PM

i think they're not going FI at all with this 370z. one of the main goals they have for this car is to show its true potential with just simple bolt ons, which is more applicable to most who do not have the budget for FI. that's why they're running it on the enthusiast class. but in the same line of thinking as yours, i hope they build or sponsor another 370z to run on the street class, just to see the potential of FI'd 370z.

LOL :icon18:

Thanks a lot guys,

No TT's for this car. Our goal right now is to just see how fast we can make the Z with just a few AE Prepped. bolt-on parts, no big wings or slicks

We are really happy w/ the Z's potential and our development on the Z's parts.

We have done extensive research on suspension tuning for our car and are using chassis tuning as our #1 weapon.

We will happily set-up any customers car, to match our car's spec' wich will allow them to fully DD their car and break records at the tracks

Next round we will be finally debuting our new Exhaust which not only saves weight but adds some nice hp.

Stay tuned for a complete write up on that.

Wish us luck at Rd 3!

AE, glad you still you guys are still around! I look forward to seeing more wins, and more importantly, your exhaust.

Keep up the good work guys.

PS Are you guys still planning on creating exhaust manifolds?

Sharif@Forged 04-20-2010 10:08 AM

Congratulations on the win! Great accomplishment. :)

Brazilbro 04-20-2010 03:16 PM

You guys rock!! Just a few questions, do you sell the suspension that you guys run? Could you PM me a price. Also what do you have your harnesses hooked to? Where do you have your fire extinguisher. I'm trying to get setup for the next east coast race!

corner3garage 04-20-2010 03:24 PM

Great job out there guys!

Sharif@Forged 04-21-2010 11:48 AM

That's incredible, and very good news to hear! What fluid are you running in it?

We use the OS Fluid that's a million dollars/qt..lol

But it's the best stuff for it, no need for added friction modifiers mixed in etc.

Ice Mode?

With those results can I assume (or pray) you have found a solution to the dreaded ice mode.

What have you done, if anything, to control it?

Does equipment have anything to do about it, or is it about driving.

I would love to know, as I had three white knuckle experiences at the Summit Point NASA event last week.

Paul@AEperformance 04-28-2010 01:12 PM

Ice mode??

Whats that?

Paul@AEperformance 04-28-2010 02:00 PM

haha... ice mode is related to the thread discussing braking issues and how abs or something (perhaps lack of grip in pads or tires, iono) creates this feelin as if the car is trying to stop on ice... so Ice mode...

Ahhh!! Thanks for clearing that up. Yes, we have definitely sorted that out, that was the first issue we needed to address with our car.

Thanks for responding, for those of us who have experienced "ice mode" its quite disconcerting (and down right scary).

I know you are running AP racing calipers but could you give me your total brake set up. Pad type, rotor, fluid, etc...

Much appreciated.

Sure, we have tried a few set up's but it's pretty straight forward.

Ap 6/4 kit, RBF 600 fluid and I prefer a staggered pad set up
