Carbotech XP-10 different pad thickness

I'm installing a new set of XP-10 pads and noticed that the inside and outside pads are different thicknesses. One is stamped 20LZ and the other 10CA. What do these stampings mean (particularly letters) and does it matter if thicker goes on inside or outside?

Actually that is a great question
I checked my XP10 had 3 - 17Ey and 1 - 10CA
yet my XP12 were all 17EY
and one set of XP1- were 17EY

Did not check the rear

My suggestion is simply to call Carbotech and ask.

I bet those are just production codes.
