PPE headers / Z1 Ported upper Dyno
1 Attachment(s)
Thought this was worth a post for anybody on the fence about Long tubes. Previously, my car put down 310whp/249tq with Stillen shorty intake, Berk HFC, and AA resonated short tails (stock Nismo exhaust otherwise). We had just put in a new R&P and LSD, so it was tight and prob cost me a few hp, but this morning I just dyno'd again, but with PPE headers (with their trick collector) and Z1 ported upper manifold now installed.
Picked up 26hp / 24tq, at 336whp/273tq Very happy with the results. The car sounds F-ing amazing from 4.5k to redline. Car rips now, can't wait to get it back to the track. |
Nice!

That's close to what I made back in 2012 with FI LTH's, Stillen long tube cai, and my port matched intakes.

Def leaving a little easy power on the table by not using the Stillen Long-tube intake, but didn't want to hack up the front clip to install, so just stuck with shorty.
Car finally feels like it is approaching enough power to better match the chassis and tire grip, which makes it alot more fun. The extra tq was immediately noticeable with a 2nd gear rip....will make it alot more enjoyable to hoon around at the track now...:driving: |
