Save the MSRC Monday Fundays!

For Texas drivers - By far the best track time value is the Edge Addicts Monday MSRC 3.1 events where you can most always log more track time than you can stand for under $250. The attendance at the Oct event was very light, so the normal 4 run groups were combined into two, so we were on track every 30 min, and advanced could even run back to back if they chose. Even for full events, I normally get in 3 hours because afternoons are double-up sessions. These are great events on an awesome track if you can get off on Mondays, and they even provide a great lunch and a few track photos for free.

Next event is Nov 7th; but with low attendance, they are facing the need to cut back or even eliminate these events in 2023, or have to raise prices.

How do I get solo-certified? I'm always happy to have an instructor but it looks like the novice category is already full.

Also, does the car have to be street legal? My registration sticker isn't exactly current lol

As you enter your car info, let them know what experience you have and I suggest you sign up for intermediate group. Karen and Trevor are very chill about letting you run with whatever group you fill comfortable with. Just talk to them when you turn-in your tech inspect form. In case this is your first time to run 3.1, I recommend you ask if you can get an instructor for the first couple of sessions and they will do their best to accommodate you!
