Totally agree, Z1 2-piece rotors are totally garbage for track use. And I wish I knew "the false statements" before I gave them 3 chances.

I have some experience with Z1, DBA and Stoptech.
I wrapped 3 sets of Z1 2-piece in less than 5 track days.
DBA 5000 2-piece works slight better. But they still wrapped in about 5-6 track days.
The Stoptech OEM replacement rotors actually last the longest. I guess the extra weight helps the heat capacity. They last about 15-20 track days for me. And they are so cheap to replace.

I can attest to the stoptech rotors. I have the slotted front and rear, non cyro-treated. They last very well, however I do have a lot of ABS engagement that puts my brakes in ICE mode. I'm not sure if that's the rotor, pad combination, or some shitty ABS design.

That said, it's a shame that we can't really use the stoptech name anymore.. I'm pretty sure my front pads with them have been on back order about 4 months now. So I've looked at different pad options, and pretty soon I'll have to do the same for rotors.

I'm currently using Xp8 rear and xp10 front. I was debating between the paragon 2 piece and the Z1 2 piece, but after rading the thread so far, I think i'll forego the Z1 option. I've not heard of racebrake or Frozen before. I'm leaning towards paragon $1800 for all 4 compared to $2,200 with racebrake.

You guys need to be using Paragon. Stoptech or better quality, available in 48 vane, or endurance 72 vane (if you ask them). Great 2 piece rotor, motorsport grade stuff.

Thanks, that's the plan. Do you know if they do anything for black Friday?

So I just want to say that I really enjoy the Paragon rotors. Since my last comment, I've also added an APR 300 wing. This solved all ice mode issues and anything that involved the rear getting too light.

Here's a video of a 1:55 laptime (robbed from a 1:54) at Sonoma Raceway this past weekend. There's a clip of the rotors in here as well. Enjoy!
