AIM - brake pressure data / MK60 ABS

I am using AIM solo with OBD2 connection to get my input parameters, and very importantly the brake pressure readings to analyze braking. Currently it is working flawlessly with OEM ABS.

My question is: what sensor is giving this information to the ECU? Is it the pressure sensor on the brake master cylinder input line? The concern I have is that when I install the MK60 ABS, the pressure sensors will be connected to the MK60 standalone unit, and no longer through the OEM ABS system and through the CAN to ECU, thus this reading will be no longer available for AIM data. Has anybody dove into this issue?

The brake line pressure sensor is located on the factory ABS module, and the data is sent to the ECU over the CAN bus.

According to VBOX (http://www.racelogic.co.uk/_download...Teves-MK60.pdf) the MK60 doesn't send brake line pressure on the CAN bus, just wheel speed, brake light and ABS activation.

One option may be to use a g sensor (like in a GoPro) to get your braking data.

Read through the ABS service manual. Sadly the pressure sensor for this is integrated to the Nissan ABS, and i will not be able to retain this signal if i don’t have fluid running through the Nissan ABS. I’ll have to find a way to simulate this value back into Nissan ABS module.
