Submarine Belt Position

Hey guys, I have a question about the submarine belt (5/6 point harness). I’ll be running sliders with my seat mounts to accommodate both my girlfriend and I. Are there any recommendations on how to compromise for eye bolt mounting position given we want to maintain proper harness angles (especially for the submarine belt)? Also, given we won’t be able to adjust length of the submarine belt very easily once the seat is installed, I’m wondering how much of a pain in the *** that will be to adjust (or not adjust) when swapping drivers… anyone else run sliders with bucket seats and 5/6 point harness have insight?

(and yes, running MA Motorsports bar + neck restraint)

Thanks in advance!

In my experience, the anti-submarine belt is usually the same length. The adjustments are made on shoulder belts (due to height) and lap belts (due to waist size).

MA-Motorsports Harness bar and Planted seat bases

I run the MA-Motorsports harness bar with the planted seat bases. The passenger seat has the sliders the driver's does not. I use Sparco EVO XL QRT seats. Both sides have the anti-sub belt as well as the rest of the 5/6 pt. set. I chose to go with a 5 pt. setup.

My anti-sub belt is adjustable at the clip in point as well as the length from the mount point. See the example in this Link: https://www.schroth.com/de/produktse...-strap-ii.html

You might be able to get an anti-sub belt from another manufacturer that offers the same functionality. Just a thought.

Oh darn, the Sabelt anti-sub doesn't have that same adjustment. Thanks for the suggestion!
