Where / Who to buy a 2020 helmet
 

ok, its an odd question, but looking for sites/vendors to buy a helmet 2020 Spec.

Why you may be asking, I had done a pre-order with Black Armor Helmets, something went wrong. I asked them last year when the helmets would be available, said it would be a while.

So this past month, I asked again, (track days are coming) got a email/text and they refunded my money. Something about new ownership.

Went to the web site and nothing, so I have no clue, that now I need to find a helmet.

Thanks for listening -- looking for ideas....

Pegasus has the new Snell 2020 helmets. don't think you will find any Snell 2020 helmets on sale.

ok, helmet update.
well I went conservative on the helmet, I bought a G-Force Revo SA2020 Helmet
May buy a Black Armor in the future, I did get an explanation from them and it was appreciated.

I bought a new SA2015 last fall, it should still be valid until 2030, not that I wont replace it before then. Buying the old spec when the new spec comes out saves money and is still good for 10 -15 years with most sanctioning bodies.

I thought about that, but being this was probably my last helmet (i'm 68) I wanted a Black Armor, so just didn't work and it was too late/lazy to look for a 2015....

Sounds like a good choice. How's the fit and build quality?

I am happy with the fit and feel, which was an advantage is I went to DiscoveryParts at AMP, they were real helpful and trying it on works for me. It also has a wider/bigger eye opening, since I wear glasses and it seem helps. I tried a Bell helmet on, but preferred the GF. I had price objects on this, since I also bought a helmet for my son. For what I am going to use the helmet for, I am total happy with the quality and the weight.

yes, there is nothing there and short story of what I was told, divorce, buy out of business partners and trying to get it all started again...

Which makes it more amazing is I got my refund back .....

A buddy picked a well outfitted Roux at a huge discount. Trick is shopping in the fall before the new ones got released.

Thanks for the laugh this morning, but when you order a helmet like august or earlier.... well stuff happens... and on the other helmet, my son could not figure out his helmet size
