Wow, those are great pics! Nothing looks better than a black Nismo in a racing environment. But, I may be a little biased.....LOL. Love the aftermarket wing by the way.

Looking good and you are good to go with the pictures in this section. What was your best time? Just curious.

Looks good! Get that ride height up a bit and run a bit closer to the curb. You can easily jump a few of those curbs at BW and gain some time.

Also curious as to your best time.

Buttonwillow is a fast track and fairly technical as well. I have only been there once and love it. With more seat time and now that you have idea of the flow of the track you will be able to knock 10 to 15 seconds off the next time you are there. Also get some coaching from an instructor or an experienced driver. I can't tell you how much that will accelerate your learning curve. Hopefully I will see you at the track sometime this year.

I think I'll definitely get low 2's with an instructor, or even friends that have ran it more than a few times

btw what was your time? It would be so awesome if we ran into eachother. There is no mistaking your z if I ever see it at an event

LOL, I ran a 2:10 in the Miata and I feel like I could do a 2:05 or better since my times continue to fall with that platform. At that event I was running in HPDE 4 and they were running 3 and four together. It was an eye opener for a lot of HPDE drivers to see Miatas running faster than Camaros and Mustangs. Our group leader races Spec Miata and was laying down 2:00 laps. I am hoping to run low 1:50s or better once I get the Z dialed in. Oh that is if my wife let's me have my balls back and I am not afraid to used them. LMAO

hahahah i chuckled. it's one thing to get them back, its another thing to use them again

miatas are so impressive. The top times that day had a couple miatas in there, such racecars

there was an e36 with an s54 motor running 1:47's.... just goes to show the most important mod is the driver

That is the name of the game on courses. Your car may be fast but it ain't worth much if you can't pilot it! The best thing that happened to me has been driving a Miata for the past two years. Learning to drive slow car fast is a challenge that will make you a better driver for sure.

enjoy that thing...it doesnt get any rawer than that

heard this thing one time "if you cant whip a 180hp car around a track, 500hp won't be able to help you" something like that. really put everything into perspective
