0-60 help

I've been trying to work on my 0-60 but can't seem to get it under 6 seconds. Anyone have any advice? I feel like the lowering springs + wheel hop are hurting my performance. I also think it's strange I'm doing a sub 4 second 0-40, and sub 5 second 0-50, but it takes me forever to hit 60.

Install a 7sp.A/T & you’ll get down in the high 4’s/low 5’s

Its a ton of work....

Bushings, tires, rear camber, rear gear, tune, driving technique, etc..

I finally got my 0-100 under 10 seconds and 1/8 mile under 8 seconds.

If that altitude, temp, and DA are even close to accurate, it will need a lot of work to go fast 0-60.

A NA motor in those conditions will be way down on power.

I wont even run mine if the DA is above 4000 ft.

Altitude and temp are very close. Not sure on the DA though. Not much I can do about it. Lowest I've seen on my Draggy is about 12500.

Buddy at work says his automatic DE 350z is doing 5.1 0-60 (plenum spacer, catback, and no tune) but I'm calling ******** on that one.

I get tons of wheel-hop in the "sweet zone" which hampers me. I have solid subframe and differential bushing. Could my lowering springs and stock struts be affecting me the most?

Yes, more than likely the springs and shocks are allowing the wheel hop.

Obviously you cant have any, or the elapse time will suffer.

I have whiteline poly bushings in the diff housing, lower rear gear (3.69) zero rear camber, revised pinion angle, and 315/18 Hoosier drag radials. Hooks perfectly on the street. Of course the 7AT also.
