PB shattering my old record by 6 seconds on my first run! now i just need some purple crack to chase Corsairs times... Larry I should have introduced myself, i was in the non nismo grey z. I watched your videos on youtube to get more feel for the track. I had only been there once time previously with the new pavement. |

Unless you're getting paid to drive the car, it's always better to leave some room for error so you can have fun again another time. |

Yeah Same. I may take some corners at 100% if I have trackday insurance, but I'm not getting back on track (with the Z) until i get a half cage. Watching Grosjean's accident live was the last straw for me. No skimping on safety gear.

Fully agree. It's like the next stage of maturing for me as a person, redefining my risk/reward limits, from reckless driving on the street as a teen, to reckless at the limits driving at the track in my early 20s (4 wheels off being pretty common for me every track day) to now never having a code brown moment at all the entire weekend. Realizing there's nothing of substance to gain.
Of course, change track day to time trial and all this would go out the window :) |
