370z Titanium Brake Pad Shims (Track users)

I recently installed a set of these shims on my race pads. I am not sure if they are actually helping, but I made it through one track day without my caliper boots melting. Now it could just be me being a better manager for my brakes, but I recall all the boots on my calipers were dead after one event. This could be something worth considering for track guys!

I'm sure they help, they are impossible to find for the Z. Hard Brakes used to sell them but when I tried to buy a set they told me they no longer make it. It's still on their site so, maybe. I got mine used off ebay with a set of track pads.

Hard Brakes stopped making them several years ago shortly before I started my search. I bought some front shims a while back off eBay with help of a link from Cossie :tiphat:

Based on the weight, they appear to be legit titanium.

It looks to me the guy just buys a big sheet of titanium and has a tool to machine cut them.
