Just spoke w/ Nik @ SOHO via Instagram. He's a client of theirs and he confirmed that car is supercharged.

Can’t wait to test out the half and possible new TC system

I made a pass to have a documented baseline and just thought I'd share.

South Georgia Motorsports Park has extended the track out to 5600' to allow for 1/2mi drag races.

WannaGoFast will be there 2/29-3/1 and 10/24-25.

3 hrs from my house. 1 hr from where I grew up. It will be nice to have traction. I hope I can make it out 10/24.

Trying to make it in February, but if not, I'll definitely be there in October:driving:

May luck up and do both, we'll see

Thinking of October, will not be able to in February....

Soho should come close to the 200 mph barrier I’d they can get it to stick and make the power they want

Spooler 01-16-2020 03:26 PM

Something tells me that due to this being a track it will raise the bar on safety. Running a normal street car at 180mph+ will not be allowed.

Whether they hit the magic number or not, I think we will be seeing big things out of those guys this year. I talked to Nik for about 20 mins the other day and you can just feel the excitement he has for this upcoming event. Polite and friendly as ever, but they are confident in their work.

Also, he mentioned they plan to live stream, so there's an option for whoever doesn't make it out.

Time will tell. Being confident is one thing actually running the car to see how long until blows up is another thing. If it holds together longer then that stock block then they are on to something. I believe the block will crack or split. I just don’t have faith in the closed deck blocks. Either in a Years time you will come back to this and say I told you so or I’ll be like I told you so. But I have nothing but best wishes for nick, Nate, and Ben on there builds.

South Georgia Motorsports Park is off the list. Both WannaGoFast events scheduled there have been cancelled. Apparently the paving company that was supposed to be doing the work to extend the track could no longer honor the original bid and the new $ number was obviously too much of an upswing. :shakes head:

The rest of the WannaGoFast schedule has not been posted for 2020, but I'll keep an eye out for that. It will likely be Texas or Florida as the closest options for me and Spooler. I'll also be looking into other event hosts' schedules.
