For chits and giggles. I measured my ride height. It's 27 front and 27.25 rear. Remember that I'm on stock Nismo coils and my tire selection.

Nice video as I have seen it before. It is crazy to see how Sasha's car has progressed since that video.

Are you going to go to a wind tunnel? Interesting data. My car dang sure needs to go.

Anybody have any new revaluation or lessons learned. I hope to be adding content in the next month or two. Going to get the Z suspension turned and mapped by on the best suspension shops in SoCal.

Where are you taking it? Westend?

Hotrodz 12-30-2020 02:31 PM

Nope WR Technica! The shop does mostly Porches and super cars. He races a 350z and knows our platform.

Yep, that was going to be my second guess, almost made it my first. My buddy takes his Porsche to them.

I have been conversing with Will over the last six months or so. He super responsive and personable.

Me either but they seem solid. I am going to have dial it in at the track. I know I need to upgrade to a good two way coilover. He is a MCS dealer and sells tons of them to Porsche owners.

MCS is good stuff!

I know of a local 370z that runs MCS, but I don’t think the owner is on here though. Would’ve been great to do a ride and compare.

So a little bit of an update. The car has been corner balanced and the suspension setup. I don't have any data on ride height and specifics yet. He did tell me he probably would not lower the car more than a half inch from stock. All in all she not is a little heavier than I would have guessed but she has a full cage, monster bash bar, TT kit, 315 30 18 tires and wheels that are just under 20 lbs each. Still freaking stoked about the setup and the cross weights are as perfect as one can hope for.

Edit: The weight include my weight in full race gear, 210 lbs and about 12 to 15 gallons of e85. So the car is about 3190 curb weight. Fun fact, e85 weighs more than gasoline!

Some ballast weight on the pass side would help. Have JC sit on the pass side.

Think you have it backwards.

Think you mean this. It will loop back around after a few miles.

I can vouch for that. It threw my corner balance way off and the car handled like a pig.

I would say a coast guard cutter anchor for a canoe.

This is because you relax and just drive the car smoothly without over driving it. I always go faster after instructing a driver. Instructing gives me an opportunity to see the track and driving lines without having to worry about at the things you need to focus on when driving.

I’d like Active-R to do a z34

LMAO, every time I see picture of those red walls I look for my car as it is still there. Hopefully, that will change sometime in the upcoming weeks. He just had his open house this weekend and the amount of P cars was ridiculous.

OptionZero 01-10-2022 05:47 PM

$100K for the body parts alone on that Garage Active R32 GTR

and i still . . . can't call it overpriced. It looks so good

Hotrodz 01-12-2022 04:02 PM

This the other car that was there for the event! Full carbon 935...https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...57a1be73c4.jpg
