metal vs rubber valve stem?

I recently upgraded to a squared set up and in doing so gave away 2 of my metal valve stems from Enkei. Bummer. I can easily buy 2 more but am wondering if they are the best option for track use?

Quick search gave me halfway results on the 350 forum with most people citing leaks as a reason to avoid. I have had 0 issues with mine for years and don't see why buying the exact same ones would give different results.

At the same time if its not necessary or recommended due to heat or some other element I am all ears. They are also the short stem style vs long so not much risk of them hitting something.

Same here and I ended up buying a pair last night. Multiple years of 0 issues makes me feel confident. Just wondered if someone had a good reason not to vs just doing the same thing because it came that way.
