Dedicated Track car < $50,000

Morning all,

I am shopping for a dedicated track car.

I have gone thru the following choices in the $50k range:
  • BMW M2
  • Corvette C7 Grand Sport
  • Corvette C5 Z06
  • Radical SR3 (used)

What else is track-able in or below the dollar amount?

Thanks all!
~ Sean

Doesn't an Ariel Atom cost around $50k?

How about a 370Z? :ughdance:

Just a little more (~$60k) and you could get a MX-5 Cup car. I've always heard miata is always the answer.

First one I clicked on was $38k. Not going to go too far down that rabbit hole since it'll end up with me being divorced. And owning a used Atom.

Edit- Holy ****, prices for new ones has gotten STEEP. Top of the line looks like $89k plus options.

Oooh nice find... i thought they were totally more than that.
Another consideration is that the ATOM is "open-wheel", and most likely not compatible with most HPDE events.

Thoughts?

**** 'em. Open wheel is awesome, and that's all the reason a man needs to buy a useless toy car. :rofl2:
