Scca B-street legal monotubes

After seat time and research I have decided that the next thing I'll change will be my dampers. I had a set of konis fail on another vehicle and would like to avoid giving them my business. I would like to run a monotube damper and would like single adjustble at most, no crazy 4 way required.

So far I know ast will do this for me and I have emailed fortune auto to see if they can build something.

Just looking to see if anyone has had success with other brands.

No rush, I probably will not buy til mid 2017 summer season.

Stance is another good option for what you are looking for, good amount of on track success at reasonable prices.

Go with the AST setup. You won't regret it.

Do those companies make just dampers/shocks though? I thought Fortune and AST only makes coils... although I'm sure they'd make up something custom for the right price.

I have a set of street class legal single adjust AST's sitting in my garage right now. Bought them used and had them on my car until I upgraded beginning of last season.

Stance confirmed they could make it happen. Fortune auto, why you love me?

Quotes from stance and ast are similar to a bit more than ots.

what was the biggest difference you noticed in the car going from the stock to ast dampers?

The AST dampers seemed to offer more damping than the factory dampers. Additionally, each click on the adjuster creates a clear and noticeable difference which you may not get from some of the cheaper options out there.

The other plus of getting a set of the AST dampers is that you should get a shock dyno chart for your dampers showing how they left the factory.
