NCM Motorsports Park -JTI - June 2016

I went up to NCM Motorsports Park for a track day with Just Track It. I highly recommend going to this course if you're anywhere close to Bowling Green, KY (3 hour drive for me). Fast corners, slow corners, fast transitions, elevation, decent runoff area- it's got it all.

The car held up well. Only limited mods (Koni yellow, hotchkis front bar, carbotechs, exhaust, oil cooler). I ran Carbotech XP10/XP8 front/rear and didn't have an issue, however if I autocross with this setup I don't get enough heat and I'll get the ice mode thing. Tires were RE71s 275/35/18 square.

PS- I did have fuel starvation on one right hand turn. This was after two sessions without refueling. Tank was half-full according to the gauge.

Nice video, thanks for sharing.

What are the symptoms of fuel starvation? Just sputtering/stalling/no power, kind of like how fuel cut feels?

Interested in taking my 370Z Nismo out for a HPDE day, but after reading fuel starvation and oil temps, doesn't seem well suited "out of the box" to handle HPDE which is funny because a Nismo model should be. But I will still probably take her out at least once to see how it behaves in stock trim (I will do brake fluid though and probably pads).

some levels are fuel starve are worse than others. it ranges from crap i blew my motor or temporarily loss of power. You are correct stock trim doesn't hold well on the track. You could baby it around the track and have fun all day.

It was just like a 1-2 second pause in acceleration and rpms stayed constant with no sputtering. I lifted for a second and got back on and power was back. This was my fault though-- I should have refueled after every session but I skipped once.

You'll want an oil cooler and brake pads and fluid, but that's all I'd say you need right off the bat.

Nice Video!

Do you know what degree of Camber your running on the front and rear? What exhaust do you have?

Thanks!

I had stock camber in the front (not recommended for the track) which is about -1.25.

The exhaust is the Ark Grip V2 cat-back. Cats and headers are stock.
