2015 V2LAB Auto x win

2 Attachment(s)
Got the fastest time of the day at the v2 lab auto x. Not bad for a completely stock Z, 2nd out of like a 150 cars, no classes, no restrictions. There were evo''s m4's, 2015 mustangs gt's, sti's, corvettes, ctsvs, etc... Lol everyone was asking what have I done to the Z and made me open the hood and everything. I was like #stock, just hotchkis front swaybar. As you can see in the pics some people could not digest that a stock Z was destroying everyone (maybe I got lucky). People had track cars with roll bars, performance tires, suspension, and many other things. Circuit motorsports confirmed and they stopped replying lol

Do you need to do anything special to it, or just run it stock?
Any overheating issues with Auto-Xing?

Mine is completely stock. Just a front swaybar. No issues since it is Auto X and most runs last 30-40 seconds. You get a break in between runs, that helps the car cool down. But yea no problems with the stock car.

Thanks. I think I'll give it a go. I used to auto-x a few years ago and miss it.

good job :tiphat:. That was an interesting autox course haha.. not sure if I can call that a "true autox course" but Win is win! Swaybar makes a big difference in our cars. Which one are you on?

Yea it wasn't the best auto x. I did one scca and they are way tighter. Lol but everyone was on the same track. That's what felt good about it. I have the hotchkis front sway bar. Night and day difference from the stock bar!

Not all SCCA courses are tight. It really depends on the region and course designer preference. National SCCA events are usually fast courses. Luckily for me, my local region also designs them pretty fast and open. :)

That course looked like a track day/auto-X hybrid. The fact that you beat 150 cars (some with race tires) comes down to one thing.

Driving talent.

I hate you.;)

What SCCA region are you in? lol I've only been to one and it was pretty tight. I have to go to more of them. I watched a national one in wilmington airport, Ohio and it was pretty sick, it had two courses that were the same but opposite to each other. They even used a christmas tree for starts.

I don't know about that lol. I guess 13 years of professional karting helped a little bit. Karts are not the same, but the idea is the same.

Skip to 1:48 to see more of my Z in action. Ignore the rice. I went to this event just for the auto x lol
