Suggestions for twitchy car at speed.

My Nismo is too twitchy at speed in turns. It doesn't feel as good as what I would expect. My toe alignment is set dead middle to spec (0.05 from what I remember). Would taking some toe out the front and rear help? I have read on hear that close to 0 with just a touch of toe is much better. Any suggestions.

I guess another way to put it is the steering is too sensitive at higher speeds for my liking.

A good track setting is 0 toe in the front, and about 1/16" toe in in the rear. More stable, add some toe IN in the front (1/16 at most) and some more toe in for the rear (1/8" at most). If you are running toe out anywhere, you are asking for trouble...(more tire wear in the front, more nerves wear in the rear!)

When I do my suspension upgrade, I will change it to this.

I run toe out in the front and toe in for the rear. Just depends what you like. For these cars I'd throw spec out the window. I mean look a my red...

Easier way to think about this. Your wheels should be toe'd in for increased straight line stability.

I'd be more concerned with a car that was twitchy while parked.

Everyone has a suspension feel they desire for there own driving style. I am just trying to dial the car in to what I like. Trial and error, here I come. But, good advice is wise to get along the way.

If you haven't done it already, you will find that a stiffer front swaybar will help settle down the car. You can read up on various ones, and choose as you see fit....

That's on the list, One hotchkis front swaybar.

Yeah? But it won't fix twitchy at speed tho.

Im assuming he doesn't mean twitchy in a straight line. If he does, then I'm also pretty sure that it is very twitchy in corners!!

It's just another piece of the puzzle that may help...admittedly, only in corners.

It is not in a straight line. I is more of triple diget in a sweeping curve. The only way it is twitchy in a straight line is unless I am giving riding lessons driving down the road....:)
