2015 AT Track Prep; First track day

I'm looking to start my first track day sometime next month. From what I have read I know oil temps are a problem with earlier models. Car is a 2015 AT is the stock oil cooler sufficient? What are some MUST have pre-reqs before going out there? Also, has anyone been able to bring spare tires to the track without a wheel trailer\truck or am I driving back home bald? Thanks for the help!

Edit: Car is bone stock.

From my experience, the 7AT trans temp is the most limiting factor. You can't read that temp unless you install an aftermarket sensor, but when it gets too high it'll limit your shift rpm. Other than that, just remember to have a full tank if you don't have the oil starve problem solved yet.

Around what temp is this an issue? I assume the Torque app can show this?

Not sure if it's just an on/off switch on the transmission or if the torque app can tell you. There are a lot of things that should be upgraded for cooling on the Z.

If this is your first track day the MOST important thing is having good high temp brake fluid, good brake pads, and a willingness to learn.

This is what i have...

Engine Oil Cooler (the OEM oil cooler really won't help, I've got the Z1 34 Row)
Trans Oil Cooler (Custom built kit, Setrab 25 Row, Mesa Steel braided hose, AN Fittings from anplumbing.com and a custom welded hardline fitting)
High Temp Brake Fluid (I'm running Brembo LCF 600 Plus and ran Motul RBF 660, both are great!)
A good brake pad like READ_T said (Currently running Endless MX72's I've only put 4 track days on em with several canyon runs and daily driving and they still stop great)

Keep a close watch on your trans fluid, not that you can check it in the 7AT...just make sure you change it more frequently than Nissan recommends. If tracking is going to be a regular thing i would say change it out every 10k miles or so
