Exclusive Weds Sports SA-55M Group Buy: Not Avaiable Anywhere else!!!
 

I have 18x9 +20 and 18x10 +18 in both colors in-stock!!

We are trying to get a group buy for WedsSports in order to manufacture a special edition of the SA-55M in Black Red Machining or Matte Black Machining. The only problem is that we need a minimum of 10 sets of one or the other or else Weds Japan will not manufacture the wheels.

The Specs:
Front: 19x9.5 +15 (21.9 lbs)
Rear: 19x10.5 +15 (22 lbs)

I may have to just break down and get the 18's cause I'm not finding anywhere the 19's available, and it's not looking like there is enough interest in them on any forum in 19's. Can you confirm the 18's WILL fit over the Sport pkg brakes? That's my only question... Then we can talk tire sizes and what not...

Also, I noticed Weds pretty much only makes 2 center caps. 1 thats CF and raised and looks really good, but supposedly only fits on 1 wheel. Then the other that is flat and boring... For all other wheels. Is this true...? I'd really like to get the CF one if possible.

Lastly, 1 set of Weds Locking nuts in Red and 4 sets of their regular lug nuts in red as well... Can you hook me up with all of the above Kami?

So for clearance 18's are good :tup: But as for the center caps there is only one option, the CF center caps wont work, sorry. And the lug nuts are in stock, I can give you a good deal. Let me know.

Have you been able to get even close to 10 orders... cause I really want to hold out for the 19's... but if it's not looking even close to being possible then I dunno... I did find some pics of these wheels on a sick subie though for anyone interested...

Both the Red/Black and the Gunmetal ones are special order's correct... Not just the Red/Blacks? Cause I'm thinking might be easier to just get the Gunmetals and have the insets painted red... :rofl2:

Well the regular finishes are in stock if you are interested. I was looking at other options since it doesnt seem people are interested in the regular finishes

I sent Weds North America and Weds Japan emails requesting info on when/if they would produce the SA-55's in 19" in black/red in mass production, but haven't heard anything back yet... Can you find anything out through your contacts? Cause if it won't be another year or never, then I can wait. But if not, then I'll just go with the 18's now...

I doubt they will produce them in red. Wed's likes to stick with their blue accents (since that is their trademark) and usually only produces other colors for companies who ask for them, but you have to fill a quota. We'll try it here for another week then we'll see what we do.

Thank you Kami for trying... it means a lot. Now I have to decide if the 18's are worth it, or if they just won't look right. :(

I'm guessing the same goes for the SA-60's??

I guess the most important thing in deciding is do the 18's Clear the stock sport calipers... Thats the defining factor I need to know with those.

Just out of curiosity... The GM/Gray Machining you CAN NOT get in 19's correct?? Just like the black/red... Or can you get those?
