What's Happened to Forged Performance?

Just wondering about the status of Forged Performance. They used to advertise regularly on the forum. There was a fellow named Bobby who used to post regularly offering deals on Volk and Advan wheels. He hasn't posted in over 3 months. Anyone know what's up? I can call them directly but would like to know if they've fallen out of favour with the forum, and if so, why.

Nothing is happened to them, they are doing quite well within the community. The forum hasn't been as active as it once was; most vendors do most of their advertising through instagram and Facebook nowadays.

I think there was some drama on the GTR side some years ago, where owner decided to focus more on the operation. They just did a 1k+ whp 370z build.

There was drama on some busted G TT install on my g37. Than the same thing on the GTR forum as well. After that they kinda disappeared.

How Forged Performance screwed a GTR owner out of $250,000...

That GT-R build was classic. I still remember when those stories came to light and blew up across all the forums.

Come on guys you are bringing up ancient history. Forge Performance is a quality business and a significant supporter of our platform and community. I would suggest you call them and talk to others that are on the forum that have used their services recently and not bring up old non-relevant information into the mix. You may also want to look at their Facebook page.

I totally agree.

I know they had to fightback hard from the past negative image they had and since then have made major strides in trying to win back the confidence of its customers.

As it stands here? They are still an active vendor albeit not as active on the forums as of late.

It takes a lot to bounce back from the heat they experienced with that GTR and g37. And make no mistake they have bounced back. Their builds are about as high quality as it gets

I proudly display their logo on my Z and the only thing I have purchases from them is a set of brake pads but I have have spent the last two years attending ZDayZ with them and FI and I can tell you they are a solid company and some of the most knowledgeable people you will find in regards to Zs,GTRs and other imports. I would not hesitate yo have them work on my car if I lived in the Southeast.

This has happened to many places over the years, shops that were dedicated Z/G places now see those cars as the #2 priority. I completely understand why, the profit margins are much larger, but it's sucky for us.
