We all know that Nissan uses weak lighting for there cars to cut on cost. So we at Third Gear Performance are here to introduce a LED package to fit all needs. Currently we will be replacing your Map Light and Trunk Light as the Stage 1 Package. Stage 2 Packaging include the Map Light, Trunk Light, and License Plate Light.

3 x T10 Wedge 5050 Panel Board
2 x T10/194 Wedge 5050- 5SMD LED

Just installed my kit. Think the JD panels could be made a little better, wire is a bit long but brightness is amazing, Wish they made a shorter one for the trunk, but that is much improved as well.

Well worth it.

I agree that the wires are a little long, but this is the only way to really keep them universal. I'm glad you like them though!

Are these lasting for a while?....I have read here on the forum that some (maybe not these) are not lasting very long.....going bad in a month or so.

I've had the JD lighting ones for over a year, but all our LEDs are covered with a 1 year warranty. Lots of other companies buy cheap grade LEDs, but we only buy the most expensive and high quality LEDs that can be purchase. We then continue to give very aggressive pricing because we are trying to build a standard the lighting industry for automotive.

What is the exact history of what you have sold and how many problems you have had ?

The JD Lighting ones seem to have a lot of heat sinking, which is one of the main causes of LED failure. If the LED fades some from being overdriven, it will still be brighter than the regular bulb for a long time.

Sorry if that didn't answer the questions. But i've been selling these for a little over a year and haven't had any returns on the JD-Lighting or the panels. Had maybe 2 or 3 of the licenses plate lights due to slightly different color, but nothing major. I've sold around roughly over a thousand JD ones and about 2 thousand Panel boards. Another issue that comes up would be the connectors sometime are defective. Which we will send you out new ones.

I've haven't had 1 JD-Lighting 5w LED back ever! and i really plan on keeping it like that.
