Public Service Announcement regarding youtube videos!!
 

Ive sent this pm out to a few people already on here.

To make a long story short...Google owns Youtube....therefore your accounts between the two are linked together. That means your full name is posted with all your videos uploaded to youtube.

If you have videos of yourself racing/speeding/etc or anything at all really and desire to keep your privacy, you need to change your name on google account immediately as to not incriminate yourself and or lose privacy!

Do it now!!

But lets all remember we should not be racing/speeding/etc since the370z does not condone or allow such things to be posted on the site :tup:

I avoid that by having my own HTTP/FTP servers (IIRC, I'm paying about $100/year). Not the best solution if you expect 100s of thousands of hits but works very well for distribution amongst friends or posting on a small site.

Thanks for posting. I recently DID see that change hence I changed most video to "unlisted" (meaning I can share to whoever as long as I have the link and kept pretty much everything hidden. I think you're pretty good with auto-x or HPDE etc. Unless your dealer REALLY goes out of the way to find out what caused your transmission/differential failure. Due to the lack of computer skills and busy dealer service sch, I highly doubt they will do it. HOWEVER, you can almost be certain that if you're in an accident, insurance company WILL look into it. So if you have an accident or you're fighting a case at a court or vise versa, be careful what you've uploaded on your Youtube/google account. Just another sneaky/slimy BS from a company that makes billions. They are just too desperate to push their unpopular Google+ :gtfo2:
