I've gotten a few database errors this morning.

The things you're mentioning were weird log-ins asking for user name & password.

Any specific threads? what section of the forum?

nogoodname 07-27-2009 09:33 AM

it happened to me when i clicked "New Posts"

that database error happens, i go back to homepage, click new posts and happened like 5 times in a row.

Actually while I'm at work, I can't click the links to threads on the right. I have to open the main thread, then go to the thread that I want in order for it to work. It could be an I.P. thing from work computers or some ****

The database error happened with every link I tried to click (I'd done a new posts search & was going through opening new threads into tabs).

From my experience on other forums, the database errors happened when the volume of traffic exceeded the server's limitations-- the error can happen for other reasons, but that seems to have been the most common.

Regarding the other issue, I've not encountered the phantom login since Saturday night. It first happened when I tried to delete a certain spam post & then happened a few other times in different threads.

The thread must have a picture or link (most likely picture) from a private album. The same exact thing happened when "nogood" posted some pics in a "Premium Members Lounge" from a private album.

As for DB errors, I just clicked on 20 different threads. Seems okay .... (?)

It seems to have passed. I've not gotten any after the initial wave.

It did it on anything I clicked on. Meaning it just couldn't access the database so the whole forum part of the site was down. :(

You might want to have your host check their logs as it could be a utilization issue on the server being overloaded.
