The things you're mentioning were weird log-ins asking for user name & password. |
Any specific threads? what section of the forum?
|
it happened to me when i clicked "New Posts"
that database error happens, i go back to homepage, click new posts and happened like 5 times in a row. |
Actually while I'm at work, I can't click the links to threads on the right. I have to open the main thread, then go to the thread that I want in order for it to work. It could be an I.P. thing from work computers or some ****

From my experience on other forums, the database errors happened when the volume of traffic exceeded the server's limitations-- the error can happen for other reasons, but that seems to have been the most common. Regarding the other issue, I've not encountered the phantom login since Saturday night. It first happened when I tried to delete a certain spam post & then happened a few other times in different threads. screen shot from BanningZ: http://i134.photobucket.com/albums/q.../WTFscreen.jpg post# 6652 on |

It did it on anything I clicked on. Meaning it just couldn't access the database so the whole forum part of the site was down. :( You might want to have your host check their logs as it could be a utilization issue on the server being overloaded. |
