How about getting a damn certificate for the site if you decide to moderate the site again. The hands off approach to this site is ridiculous. I cancelled my subscription because it's a money grab at this point.

I'd bring the forums back to the 21st century myself just for fun, I am more than capable if given the opportunity. Something needs to change one way or another, I just have this eerie feeling one day it'll disappear for good with how things are going. So much lost knowledge.

Nah. Some of us have been performing monthly scrapes of the entire site so we can rebuild as necessary if AK just let's the place rot. We've asked enough times if he needs help, would sell the site or could handle the updates needed. Its on him at this point.

Does AK have a Z anymore?

One can only hope it's possible he can come to his senses and give up control of what he created instead of letting selfishness destroy it.

And while scraping the website is great, without a proper database dump it's effectively just a static archive at that point, the current forums as we know it as an interactable service would still be gone for good.
