Rep Points Question
 

In my profile I see 10 rep points but when I post something it only list 3 points. Also, when I give a rep to someone I don't see them getting the point given.

What's up?

I have like 35000 points and rep power of 110. its not a 1:1 system.

Okay, just curious as to what the system really is.

I would assume that number of posts, number of likes received, number of friends, &c are involved but I couldn't figure out how the different values are weighted.

I thought it's how many I have raped in here??

Oh, it's sorta like paying taxes. No one knows actually what they owe, they just fill in the info and a number comes up. Go to five different tax people and get five different answers (of which none of them I like).

Rep power: How much power (points) the user gives when they give reputation
Rep level: How much reputation points they have received from other users

You cannot rep the same person, you will need to spread rep first.

I thought rep points were purchased... You have to earn them? I'm so screwed...

I gave you rep points TBatt, but it still says 3. I put a note that says +50,000. So it's definitely not a 1:1 thing. :P
