Dealing with a forum vendor / sponsor.

Hello Admins,

What does one do with a vendor that has my money but has not provided service or communication?

How do we make sure he doesn't screw any more forum members? :shakes head:

I thought it prudent to post here for a suggestion before I go publicly shaming him.

Thoughts?

Is it your tuner? he may be out for sema right now.

If you feel uneasy enough and could not wait it out, I would do a chargeback claim through paypal while you're waiting for him to respond.

It is my tuner.

He may be at SEMA, he may be in Guadalahara, he may be dead. I have no way of knowing.

SEMA is 11/3-11/6, i've been waiting for a response since 10/23.
Not a valid excuse.

Lots of prep involved before going to SEMA. Not to mention catching up after they get back. In all honestly, that's a week of business days and that's not much.
I would throw up a lot flares yet, even though I understand the angst of having given your money to someone else.
Look at it this way. I paid a deposit to my tuner, then didn't have the tune done for almost a month, so he had my money and I had no work done.
I'd give it some time.

Waiting is not an issue, being ignored is.

Hasn't been active on the forum since 10/19. I wouldn't raise the red flag yet but that's definitely not a good way to conduct business.

Totally understand the situation here.

I can try to make contact with vendor, But IF he's busy with other things that he just doesn't have time to respond to me or other customers like yourself?

There's not much that can be done.

IF you just can't wait any longer? Request a refund and move on.

This time of the year is always a hectic time as vendors gear up for large event like SEMA and of course the unwinding to catch up when they return.

Im not making excuses but I see the vendors side of it too.

Nonetheless again IF you just cant want for a reply from them? Get your $$ back.
