No Longer Receiving E-mails.
 

I have not been getting any emails when I receive a new PM or when a subscribed thread gets a new post.

I would like to double check that I did not accidentally click on something to block the emails, but I do not know what email address they were coming from for me to be able to check (my list of blocked addresses is pages and pages long with no ability to sort by domain or search).

Any help from an admin would be appreciated.

Same thing's happening to me as well.

Mine come from sh*3@msn.com. Acct name starts with "sh" and ends with a "3". If you need the complete addy, PM me - I don't like posting e-mail addys in public (damn SPAMmers).

I dont have any addresses beginning with "sh" blocked right now

Sasha from Boosted Performance had/has the same issue. I don;t know for how long though.

I would guess 3-5 weeks.

I waited like 1.5 months for my acct to be approved, so about 2 months before my join date (since i sent a few emails seeing what the hold up was)

Edit: after reading the post i meant AK was not able to get emails anymore...maybe its a full issue

any word on resolving this issue?

Sorry for the delay, But Im still waiting for AK to log on to let him know so he can look into it. :ugh2:

Thanks for reporting. It's interesting bc I do not have emails bottled up here in the forum server like it did 3-4 years ago. I made a mistake on an email setting I think in 2010? and I ended having 50,000+ emails not being sent! boy that was a nightmare but eventually all emails were sent out. I JUST checked and email system is working how it should be. I have just the right amount of emails I suppose to have.. so this IS interesting. I'll look into this. Thanks for bringing this into my attention.

As for sometimes getting emails from Sh**an83@msn.com - it's an old account I sometimes use. It's safe. It should say authors name is A. Kaiser which is me.

EDIT: just checked again and emails are being sent perfectly! hmmm ..

What is the normal email address that the emails come from? Without knowing that, I am unable to check if it somehow got put in my spam filters

Nobody knows what email address the forum sends the notifications from?!?

This has fixed itself apparently, I am getting emails again

Can everyone please chime in and confirm me that they ARE receiving all their emails?

Seems to be working correctly for me

This is a problem again, and I am no longer receiving emails.

What's the deal here?

This email problem is becoming a serious headache for me. I have to carry my personal iPad around now because it's the only device still logged in. I cannot reset my password because this forums outgoing email doesn't work.

I tried to register a new account and nobody here will activate it so I cannot even post like that from work or phone.

I send email and it goes unanswered.

Can we get a little administration effort around here?

Sorry to hear about the ongoing email issue.

I've reported it to AK and have not got confirmation IF he's had a chance to look into it but it's obvious it still an issue so I will try get ahold of him so he can look into it asap.

This is beyond my control unfortunately and so all I can do is once again let AK know.

I can only ask for some more patience and apologize for the inconvenience to you and everyone else.

In the NEW member registration approval?

AK is the only one who can approve NEW members as he has to vet all NEW potential members to filter out potential Spamers.

Are you able to personally reset a password for me since I cannot get the email?

I have corrected this on my own, at least for now. By switching the address to have the forum send my emails, it has started to send them.
