That's because Jason kicks ***. He's the first person I recommend for anything.

So far kozmic is my first choice. They are thus far the only 1 of the shops that responded to my email query. I'm real big on thatbecause im anal I guess. Initial pricing is reasonable and fair although I think they r a little high on the uprev retune. They also brought up ceramic coating the z1 headers and wrapping them which I honestly hadnt thought about but even though an additional expense this makes sense to me. I didnt ask if they had a dynojet or not. So far it seems like theyll get mybusiness. I tried to stop by ssp but my god there was no place to park and that was a real turn off especially when one of their guys was outside and saw me tring to find a spot and just ignored me so I scratched them off my list.

Don't write off ssp based on that. Jason is the man. Also, Polydyn is in Houston so all your coating needs are taken care of. Lastly, I've got someone who would be happy to help you find a place to live. Just shoot me a pm with contact info and what you're looking for and I'll get her in touch with you.

Lol it was the complete opposite for me. I called Kozmic for a quote and they said they will get back to me. They never did, which made me cross them off my list. SSP answered my questions straight up and throws charity car washes.. win =)

Haha... guess its all in the timing

Sorry to hear that bud. Would've been awesome to meet new Z owners from different areas. Best of luck!

Sorry to hear you're headed back. I hope Houston didn't leave you with a negative impression. It really is a nice city to live and work in. Best of luck to you.

WOW! 2 weeks? I don't care for Houston much either (I live there and work in Dallas during the week) but even I'll say you have to give it at least 6 months before you decide it aint for you.

Im 43 now. I aint got time to f round :)
Im sure its decent. Too freaking hot, cost of living not really significant unless you want to live in crime infested area. Or live 30 miles outside of city. There was enough negative remember I would paying two rents and not liking the area I wasnt willing to go through that hardship for 6 months while figuring out if the job was really great. Had the job really knocked my socks off then maybe.. anyway, the city was clean at least. Guess ive just lived here too long to ever move. I probably wont like anywhere else so ill just go back to govt contracts here. Sent from my GT-N8013 using Tapatalk 2 |
Got lucky. I landed a remote work from home job with phizer (yeah the dong stiffeners). So now I can move wherever the hell I feel like and of course an unlimited supply of viagra starting next week soon as their laptop arrives. I did have to sacrifice a bit on the salary but not too much besides being able to work from my bed/office shouldbe so worth it.
I was a little worried about leaving tx without having another job locked up but like I said, got pretty lucky to find and get this job. Installshield and sccm 2012 and the windows 8 migration is my primary functions. Later... Sent from my GT-N8013 using Tapatalk 2 |
