He said there was a bad chip or Ecu piggy backed onto the stock Ecu and the car would just shut off and stop running at times and the o2 sensors had been cut in half so the turbo piping would fit.

Who your speaking of I don't know this person. Secondly, if Wendell had called the shop I'm sure I helped him enough and I'm sure I told him to trailer the car up to the shop and we will warrant our work. 3rd, if that car in question came to the shop and we tendered services on that car then that car wouldn't h e left in that condition. No car leaves my shop overheating, limping home, misfiring etc.

Thanks guys/girls

PS: You guys have some serious cops out here, first day and a ticket for 76 in a 70 zone, really? Must have been my NY plate I assume :driving:

I recommend Gunn Nissan in San Antonio. As far as performance shops.. I take mine to JMS Racing in Converse. Welcome to the area! You'll have to experience the "Twisted Sisters" cruises we have deep in the Hill Country.

As far as the cops go.. just gotta be careful on 35 in Schertz/Selma. They'll get ya.

i completely understand, but you have to see two sides to a story before posting. facts are facts. regardless the car you speak of left our shop and the customer burnt off on money. if you are talking about the o2 sensors, its the rear o2 sensors and we didnt cut the harness. we told the customer to replace the entire wiring harness but he declined. we went out of our way with that customer and gave him a carbonetic twin plate clutch with the build that we did for him. the utec having issues isnt our problem. i talk to wendall many times on the phone and was as helpful as could be and also told him to call me directly if he continued to have problems. i have quite a few customers from louisiana. we take care of our customers and go above and beyond. wendall isnt even a customer of jtran studios but i sat there and took the time out and spoke to him on his concerns of the car. previous owner of that car did the initial install of the turbo kit and exhaust system. he blew the motor and we went ahead and replaced the motor and it had a base tune in there. the original owner told wendal that he could take it back to us and have it fully tuned for free which is complete bs. he was never charged for a full tune due to the fact that it was a fresh build. the original owner even called me and told me that he sold it to his cousin and that i should tune it for free.

at the end of the day, people talk about my shop rather good or bad, i dont ever say anything and let the work speak for itself, this one particular subject gets under my skin due to the fact that wendall seems to be two faced. ive more then extended a helping hand on this car. if he is still having issues with the car, tell him and again what i told him before, bring the car up here and we will find out whatever issues he is having and let him know how to fix it.

Sounds great, yep it was on I35 but between New Braunfels and San Marcos.

Anyway, flying back to NY tomorrow and coming back with a moving truck and my car to move into our new apartment for a Year, until the new house is being build. Exciting but annoying as well, have not lived in an apartment for over 30 Years, no single garage for my girl

No you are right, there are two sides, and that you're here telling your side of it instead of ignoring it speaks volumes for sure.

Must have been DPS then.. which is strange because I was told by a DPS officer that they will usually give you a 10% cushion of the posted limit.

Now, whats a DPS officer? You are in New Braunfels as well, should meet sometimes. :hello:

Department of Public Safety, basically highway patrol... they very rarely cut anyone slack.
There's a Z club down in San Antonio. About 15-20 minutes from you. Welcome to Texas...!!!

Hop on over to 130 toll road for some nice speed action if you haven't already. You're more than welcome to join me for a cruise down Lime Creek and out to Marble Falls.

I might just take you up on that, funny about the high speed action though. I moved the the US from Berlin/Germany 16 Years ago. Now that's what I call some high speed action, going 160mph in a very safe environment :driving:

Gosh, that's what I miss most :crying:
