2013 Rays 19" 370z powder coated rims

Just like the title says. I've been searching a lot on the web, looking for any other peeps with the 2013 370z Rays 19" rims that have been powder coated. I see a ton of 2012 (and below) Z's but none of the 2013 Rays style. Well, if I am the first to have a 2013 Z done, I am glad I am on this site to share the pictures. I have yet to take the final "on the car" picture but I will try to do that tomorrow or Friday. Until then, here are the rims off of the car. At the time of this forum post, the car has 3494 miles on it. The coating was done at Top Koat in Kennedale, Texas ( TopKoat.Net - Your powder coat solution provider. )

The color: ALIEN SILVER

Here is the car that the rims are on. I took this picture when I first bought the car at the dealership. The rims are the factory grey finish, not the new Alien Silver powder coated finish.

... Dislike... Sorry brother, but one of the best parts of the 2013 wheels is that dark gray...

No harm no foul DEpointfive0! It's a preference.. we understand that. The grey got old quick. We disliked having the same color as everyone else. :)

Update for those who are interested in seeing the "final look" now that the rims / tires are back on the car..

I just got back from picking the car up. The first two shots were under partly cloudy skies, in the service pick up area of the dealership. No direct sunlight.

We left the dealership and went to grab a bite to eat. The sun came out and I snapped this shot with my cell phone:

The silver suits the colour of your Z much better than the dark grey

Thanks. I firmly believe that this color matches well. It's not too far off from the stock color yet for those who know the Z line up, they will instantly know they are not "stock colored". Since I'm in my 40's, it's not over the top nor is it tacky / too edgy. The rims are mild mannered compared to many different colors out there but they offer slightly more glitz and glamour that pairs well with the rest of our Z. They actually match our silver door handles much better than the factory color grey.

I was a little meh looking at them in the back of the truck. But sitting on the car its not bad. Plus it's all about you customizing your car for you.

Thanks 7speed.. I tend to agree with you. It's sometimes hard to judge an accessory before it is bolted on. Now that the rims have been bolted on, the OVERALL look is much more pleasing. Someone mentioned adding spacers and that would probably add to a better overall look, but since the car has about 3500 miles on it, I don't want to give the Nissan Dealer ANY reason to void that portion of my warranty (I purchased the extended 5 year 100,000 mile warranty).
