There is a double row of parking that runs parallel with the drive through for Dun Bro's that is hardly used. Those row's also run parallel with the only entrance via signal light off of Fry road so we would get hundreds of incoming traffic views.

Bev and I are in for (2) Z's, I hope a few more can make it for the first meet!

If Saturday looks to be a rain out, we will go for Sunday, same time.....

if I have Mo back, I'll be there :)

I will be at Dun Bro's tomorrow morning at 9am. If anyone else can make it out, it would be great.

Its a start up so over time this may be a cool meet for Katy. Next meet will be in two weeks.

Here is the plan.... I think we will stay at the same location for a while. The parking lot is just perfect for what we do. I was there last week and all the way till noon there were at least 25 spots clustered together that were never used.

I am thinking that we stay with every other Saturday until we start to get some numbers. Then we will shift to the 2nd. Saturday of every month.
The meet will be from 9am till noon and for those who want, we will all move out to a place to eat lunch. We will determine that in the parking lot.

I have been spotting out Z owners in area parking lots and on the road and letting them know about what we are doing. So far the response has been exceptional. I am hoping over time we can get a large group of Z's and maybe other cool cars to start showing up. Everyone loves to show off their car's and this will be a great place to do it.

Haha agreed. It's really bs. If I can get a nice advance head notice I can get the day off. Just gotta let me know so I can check our book. Or I'll just call in sick. Cough cough. Lol.

I live like 10 mi from there. Im down if I get to wake up early enough lol!! Saturday/Sundays are my unplug the alarm clock from the wall days.

Awesome! The next one will be a week from this Saturday, September 22. We will continue every other Saturday and eventually go to the 2nd Saturday of every month.

Nice! Finally a time I can work with haha! If I finally get my plates from Baker Nissan I'll drop by. Bought the car on September 7 and still never called me about my plates. I'll give them a call tomorrow.

You can come without plates.... Me and Beverley went to the first 2 or 3 meets with paper plates on our cars.

I have signed up for an event with Grandsport in Hitchcock on Sat. guess I will try next time, hope ya'll have fun. FYI Grandsport will have an event on Oct. 13th for all V6 cars 100.$$ for the day- Four 20 min. (sometimes 5) sessions per class. Lots of fun!

All of this just feet away from our cars.

Started a "Cars In Katy" Facebook page which will have event information. I am working on a spot at the Cinemark parking lot on I-10 and Grand Parkway (hwy 99) by suggestion of some of the participants today. I Have about 95% approval and will get confirmation on Tuesday September 25th.
The next meet will be Saturday October 6th. and then we will move to the 3rd. Saturday of every month, with two meets in October (6th. and 20th.) From there, once per month.
Will keep you posted as things develop.
