I nabbed my Hero 1 at Walmart for $129 couple weeks ago. If the Hero3 has sharper video, I'll probably hop on it too :P

It does, 1080P at 60fps. The hero 2 was 1080P at 30fps.

Well it's not the frame rate that's the issue for me, it's more about sensor quality and bitrate. The Black Edition looks quite promising from videos off YouTube.

Okay I goo goo mapped it and the lot is on Capitol which is right in front of the Saucer. Corner of Main and Capitol. Back side of the parking lot is on Texas Ave.
