Ended up going against the turbo s2k which was a waste of time and the twin turbo v12 merc. Can't remember the model.

Was a better match up, but it would have been nice to get a shot at the Z.

lol yeah my dealer put their paper plate on my car too and told me "its required" :( im getting the motorized show n go braket soon and see if i can figure out a way to center mount it

I permanently fixed the shifter issue on the boxster s so if you want to meet up another time we can just for fun.

So what was causing it to keep breaking?

Just saw a black sports heading into the Parks Mall in Arlington around me 5 PM. The flash is strong with this one!

black nismo at heb on parmer and 35 at 4pm, had paper tags, parked all the way at the back of the lot lol

The nylon bushing that holds the shifter onto the shift linkage was worn and a piece broke off it. I super glued it back on and ordered the 997 shifter assembly. Apparently it's a known problem for 996's.
It was good after that when I ran the cl65 and turbo s2k. I think you would have had both those cars and mine from a roll.

That vette was nasty but the guy could not drive at all.
