The nylon bushing that holds the shifter onto the shift linkage was worn and a piece broke off it. I super glued it back on and ordered the 997 shifter assembly. Apparently it's a known problem for 996's.
It was good after that when I ran the cl65 and turbo s2k. I think you would have had both those cars and mine from a roll.

That vette was nasty but the guy could not drive at all.

white non sport on clay rd at roughly 5:20pm. very very cute girl, gave the thumbs up and get a wave. she turned onto hwy6 and headed towards copperfield. Matt you better get on this.

- Cherry Vert heading south on Tollway near 121 around 8am- cute woman driving
- Gray with sport package heading North on the Tollway access road near Stonebrook in the evening (I think I've seen this guy before on N County road - he didn't wave to me then either)
- Yellow (I think sport) heading west on Park near the tollway around 10pm

i saw 2 today, which i think is a record.

Black w/ sport heading west on 1093 south of Cinco Ranch.

Grey (i dunno Platinum Graphite or Gun Metallic) waiting to go through the touchless HEB carwash at FRY RD and 99.

I woke up the morning you could order 7 character plates and got it right away, had about a 30 second thought if it was worth it, YES!
For those wondering, they opened up 7 character plates for 7 days and stopped, they stated it would be back this summer.

I will try to keep up with it and bump the 7 character vanity plate thread I originally made so anyone else who wants to order can.

MBlue Sport heading North on Beach nearing 820. I swear it had painted lights. Didn't flash cuz it was near a school zone where cops are prone to be.

I found out the pricing a few days before it all went live, I was almost did not order it.

I think it's worth it for you cuz that's what identifies you but I don't have a fancy nickname like you do :p so I could really care less for the 7th character
