Eh. We had all those flash flood warnings but it wasn't anything bad tbh.

bigpat728 01-10-2013 08:23 PM

So should I say stew it and get the stillen g3 intake the way to go?

Robert_K 01-10-2013 08:45 PM

I plan on getting the Stillen Gen3 for my G37. I don't foresee any problems with it.

Yes, I ran the gen3 for almost a year with very very bad rain storms here in Houston and not a single problem. The good thing about the stillen is they are still high up like the OEM filter and still behind the front bumper protected. You would need to drive through 3 feet of static water to flood them which means the inside will be wet before the intakes.

Hey, all! I just posted in the sticky thread for the Houston Z Club or whatever but it looks like this is where life is! Anyone want to help me out with info on where/when the next meet will be? I'd love to make it out! Thank you in advance.

I'm home!!!! Landed around 5pm last night. Very long trip! The flight from Dubai to IAH was 16+hrs. None-the-less... Have some things to take care around the house and hopefully getting my Z tomorrow or this weekend.

Some old pics from back in 2009 sometime, of driving with my Gen3's in a horrible rainstorm in Houston that was causing flooding all over the city. I've never had water problems with them:
