Id recommend both 45 Modern Sounds (Tony) and Executive Tint on Hilcroft (Brandon).. I have the Kenwood DNX9960 and would not recommend it (I think its discontinued anyways).. very SLOW. Im looking to get a new Sony at the end of the year.

you'll laugh when they show you the speakers that come out of your car. In one of my albums, I have pictures from when I was trying to sell it. LOL.

Best of luck & let us know what you go with.. no matter what installer you go with.

I just had a system installed in my Nismo last week. I went to Custom Car Sounds (I think that is the name) over on I-10 and Kirkwood. The installers there are good and I stayed all day while they worked on my car. They had the entire interior pulled out. Kind of scary but they did a great job.

I didn't want the nav so I opted for the Pioneer P3400BH which has everything but nav. Like Jenny said, the factory speakers are a joke. I don't think you could pick up a paper clip with the magnets on them.

I went with Alpine component speakers for the doors and upper tweets. We tried to retro fit something for the rear but couldn't get anything to work because of the contours of the rear panels. I didn't want any speakers showing. I also got a Memphis Audio amp for power and they mounted it behind my drivers side seat. Along with that, I had a rear camera installed with sensors that all mount inside the license plate frame, and the image shows on the radio screen.

Last, I manufactured a mount for my 10" Sub in the rear that goes under the carpet and in the spare tire area (with the spare still in place) For the type of music I listen to (rock) it sounds great!

Actually one more last thing. I had them put some LED clusters behind the reflectors in the doors so when they open, they light up.

Dan -- sounds impressive!! :D Im getting LEDs at the end of this year too.. going with red. did you go with a color or white?
I got a backup camera too - now I want one on the front end. ;)
I agree about being scary when they pulled all the interior out.. I couldnt watch.

The infinity 3.5 kappas fit behind the rear covers with a little plastic removal behind the panel.

I can do the LEDs in the car any color. Doors switch, ignition, cluster, AC, triple cluster.

I did my 370 sport in blue, but I am thinking of doing the NISMO in red. Orange is so drab.

Did the full interior in red. Thought it would be cool with the black car..... Love it!

Good to know about the infinity speakers for the rear. Something I may add later but im pretty satisfied with sound so far.

I want to install a garmin GPS on the chubby and replace the stock radio with my alpine deck. I also got a pair of speakers & 2 tweeters from my old build (celica RIP) that I took out when I got rid of it. Still working and an alpine amp & kickers subs. Just wondering how much it'll cost for them to have it all mounted on the car. Do they have a phone number or website I can contact them? Thanks in advance.

Answered your question in another thread.
If you want to see my setup, my car is currently at Baker Nissan (North). If you stop by and ask for Paul Morgan he will show you the interior if you want.
