Updated the Nismo Fiesta Convoy thread with more conveyors. FYI: It's not looking promising for me to be home for this now. Iraq is still not issuing entry Visas. Have to have one before I depart. Need some prayers, hopes and wishes

So you can leave Iraq but can't go back after your time off? That sucks :(

Correct. And after so much time off the company I work for considers it as you quitting.

Call up Baker Nissan north and ask for Paul Morgan. They have a painter there that does awesome work!

are those yours? How is the paint holding up? I was thinking about powder coating mine but those look sick and I sure it costs less.

Those are going on Jason's car, they are on but he still has his stock wheels as he is waiting for the new ones to arrive soon.

I see. Would you know if the stock ones are pc'd or painted?

The stock brakes? I think they are just painted but I can ask to find out.

This pic was just taken yesterday. They are painted, not powdercoated and they said downtime is only 2 days.

Please do, bc if they are painted there is no reason to powder coat. Stock ones look pretty nice and look like new on the 09's I've seen.

Mine will be there in about two weeks for TT install so I might do this and wheels at the same time. I was also thinking about clear coating the engine bay and underside of the hood.

VDC_OFF 03-02-2012 02:23 PM

misread your question... I dont know if factory color on calipers is paint or powdercoat. Thought you were talking about the picture I took.

Sounds like you are going to have a badass car! What color are you thinking about doing for brakes and wheels?

Ron 03-02-2012 02:26 PM

Thank man! Dark gunmetal, think 40th/GTR wheel color. Not sure if I wanna go with some sort of metallic red or gold calipers.
