I wonder why you need to register for the cruise? It's on public roads.

Don't get me wrong, I registered too, but I'm just curious what the deal is.

I think it's just so they can have a head count.

Last I read, the count was over 80 cars. That will make tomorrow interesting!

guru 04-13-2012 02:03 PM

80 cars broke up into 3 groups. There is a spirited group! :driving:

I think I'll be hanging in the back of the last group observing the Fast and Furious carnage.

You and me both. I've got nothing at all to prove not to mention I'd like to come home with my bumper still on the car.

Jmcruz87 04-13-2012 03:59 PM

Made it to the hotel chillinig on floor 8 where's everyone at?

Boost_lee 04-13-2012 04:30 PM

I dont believe they do. The 'ticket' is per car, not occupant.

Obscure movie quote for you guys to look-up!

60% chance of no rain then! If anything, the clouds will keep us from all roasting.

Jmcruz87 04-13-2012 07:13 PM

Who's going to the river walk tonight from drury?

Synack 04-15-2012 06:41 PM

By far the most fun I've ever had in my Z, even better than drifting.

There's going to be a DVD with raw footage from lots of people. Tons of people had Go Pros and I ghetto mounted my phone recording in 1080p so it was basically the same thing. There were also interviews as well. Calvin (Nismo 350) and I were interviewed.

Robert_K 04-15-2012 10:16 PM

Yeah I ordered a DVD that was part of my tickets I sold to a G37 member. Hopefully they will ship it to me as I didn't sell that ticket to him.

Yeah! Grats on best 370Z. The white nismo with blue wheels was cool but he himself wasn't cool enough to win an award.

Boost_lee 04-16-2012 10:50 AM

Thanks everyone! There were some hot looking 370's out there, I'm very fortunate to have come out with a win.

If an act of God happens and I get approve this week I'm going to try to be home May 3 - 21st. If not I'm going to shoot for May 26 - Jun 13th. Of course only if I have an approve entry Visa. And I actually just asked my Chief if/when I get the Visa if I could take 30 days of R&R and take all of July. But HIGHLY doubtful that will get approved by his boss. LOL

gurneyeagle 04-16-2012 11:41 AM

Next year it should be mandatory that everyone post their forum name on their windshield so we can figure out who everyone is!

Sorry I didn't get a chance to meet you boost, but major congrats on the win. The car was beautiful!

It was nice meeting you too Nina. Next time, just ask for help. I would have been happy to assist, but most people (me especially!) are very picky about their cars.

We were under strict orders from Jenny to be on our best behavior, so we kept out of everyone's business! :icon17:
