Just got off the phone with PowerFab. Said everything but the HalTech box has arrived. The Tein Comfort Sports are on back order but doesn't look like there will be a problem receiving them on time. The HRE order is going in today. Should hear something back on the offsets soon. The manifolds, turbine housings and, downpipes are back from PolyDyn. Waiting on pictures. The I/C does have some cast parts on it so we're waiting to see what PolyDyn's coating looks like before we send it for coating. The engine is at the machine shop so once PowerFab receives that back, game on! That's it for now.

Polydine is cool, it should come out well but I'd wrap as much as possible too! When do you think you'll be getting it back? We can all take a cruze around town....... down to Gtown and back, help break her in!

Just received word back from HRE on the offsets; 19x9.5 +32 & 19x11 +34. No ETA on deleivery. Now to order a set of Toyo R888 in 265/30 & 305/30.

Why HRE??? How about a P40SC 20x11 weighting in at only 22.4lbs!

Was talking directly with a HRE employee and he recommended a more aggressive offset(s). I'm not gonna lie part of me was/is concern about them. I let my vendor know that we're working on the fitments.

OK... So I just got off the phone with HRE. The original sizes and offsets I was suggested was; 19x9.5 +32 (265/30) & 19x11 +34 (305/30). I questioned this and was told they will fit. Well I got in touch with Lon at HRE via another forum. Told him the sizes/offsets and said they don't sound aggressive enough. So we shot e-mails back-and-forth. Anyhow... New offsets for my HRE P43SC are; 19x9.5 +20 (255or 265/30) & 19x11 +25 (305/30).

What do you all think about me swapping my Seibon '03-'06 TS hood for an '07-'08? Think I like it with the hump. Here are some pics.

I keep debating a hood with vents, but just not sure with driving my car everyday.
The heat removal would be great especially if I get in traffic in Houston, which is always.

I am debating it too, might look weird with no other body mods, I dunno. Matt did you see the upgrade for the stage 1 SC? Are you getting it?

Not currently, want to finish up my body mods and interior before more power.
Though if I do anything power I might do a meth kit or some engine work.

I drive my Z everyday with the vent. No issues. You can see the heat coming out so it has to help some.

Always liked the HR hood. Looks good.

Well talked to PowerFab today. Kinda just getting a weekly status update and not much has changed. Engine is still at G&G, HalTech is still saying sometime in March, no update on the Teins and hopefully will have a word back on the intercooler and piping this week.

On a personal note... Iraq is still not issuing entry Visas. So until they start I can't leave without quitting my job. Have 40 days till my R&R so wife & I are hopping for some good news soon. But I did get promoted this month and pay day is this Friday. And payday is looking good with the pay increase. :D

Grats man. You can build my motor next ;) G&G does great work. We use him very often¡! You have to get out of Iraq to lead our convoy. Hope it works out.
