So I've been reading through the thread and am a bit confused. I just moved to Dallas. Is a cupcake meet a charitable event and car meet at the same time? If so who is allowed to come?

Yes, it's Open to all cars. $10 to get in and free to spectate.
It's more like a huge car meet with a purpose.

Next one in the Dallas area will be CupCake Meet 14 on July 21st, 2012.
