North Houston Meet - Car Toys - March 27, 2010

This should give those who work and those who want to go out afterwards enough time to hang out for a couple hours.

There are several resturants in the area - BrickHouse Tavern & Tap, Hooter's, Chuy's, Papa's Seafood, Zio's Italian Kitchen, Chili's, Red Lobster, Asian City, Joe's Crabshack, TGI Friday's, Italiano's, and fast food within walking distance.

Who:
The Houston BMW group will be hosting the event, but any and all enthusiasts are welcome. Feel free to invite your friends!

Rules:
- No racing!
- No loud music.
- No unlawful behavior.
- No aggressive driving.
- Be safe!
- Respect for imports and domestics.
- Please do not sit on or touch others rides.
- Positive attitude.
- Have fun!

As far as I know, I'm the only 370z around that location. I live about 3min away in fact lol! Oh and when he says no speeding.... that part of the feeder road is 40mph not 55 as most would assume. Cops love to pull people over all day there. Don't speed.

I think I've seen you around before. I'm down 1960 in atascocita. What about you?

I live a few exits up off 59. It's technically Kingwood but I don't usually drive around in there.

Update / Location Change


I was a concerned with how large the Best Buy Parking lot is and people speeding/drifting around in it. There is a Car Toys and Tweeter Electronics infront of the Best Buy. Today I spoke with the Store Manager about us moving the meet into their lot. He was more than willing! They will also be coning off parts of the lot for us (we still have the entire Car Toys lot as well as the Tweeter lot).

Below is an updated photo showing the previous location and the new location.

FYI, it's not all Z's. I promoted on BMW, Audi, and JDM forums.

Good to see yall out there. I need to invest in a nikon or cannon DSLR cam and pod to get some great shots of the upgraded Zs. I might see about getting a Go-Pro-HD as well Dreamer so others and enjoy those beautiful fly by moments. The Berks sound very refined, and conservative but once you open it up they roar!!!
The HKS exhaust does have a massive scream at high rpms, I love it. Too bad I will have to sell it once I get closer to turbo time. But might sell it sooner than that.

good to hear it was a good turnout. wrecked my Z at around 2 on my work yday bc some dumbass did an improper turn. gotta wait it out and hopefully i can make it to some meets.
