Weekly Car Meet in Garland??
 

Got the ok from the owners of Saigon Mall & Lee's Sandwiches to throw a weekly car meet there. What night would work best for everyone? They said Tues, Wed, or Thur nights would be ideal, as they would open the sandwich shop later just for us with possible discounts.

Great chance to try out some good asian sandwiches and drinks. Please help support this local business in exchange for a well lit and very large parking lot for us to congregate in.

Pretty far.... How many people are you expecting lol? That's a big lot.

honestly right now I don't have any expectations, but with this being a potentially reoccuring meeting every week it can be big or small at times. I'll say this, I did have a G35/350Z meet there once with about 40-50 cars. I'm sure I can get 100+ easily.

does Lee's offer the "buy 5 get 1 free" bahn mi deals that other places offer?

This mall has been a stage for previous meets before. Like CupCake Meets and others.

Thursday is closer to the weekend. Richardson likely isn't an area to have 370z's in. I used to live there. The car is too new for the median salary of those folks. 350z, g35s, Hondas, acuras, and muscle cars frequent that area though.

If your trying to get a good amount of people, i suggest going to Dallas Imports.net and other popular forums.

Thread on DI has already been posted...people can drive to a car meet. I don't live in Richardson/Garland either, but it's close by.

Median household income in Richardson TX is $68k/year.

I used to live in richardson, you have to be specific as to what area you're talking about. there are definitely areas that the income avg is much higher (such as the prairie creek/canyon creek area), but most of those folks have bmw's and mercedes. when i cruise around richardson, i see more 350's than i do 370's...good number of miatas too...

Your stats are probably true for a household income avg. Not that mall tho. Just saying if it was a every few week meet it would pull more guys from further areas.
