window tint?

where is the best/cheap place to get window tints around DFW?

in my experience. Best and cheap don't usually go together. If you want the best, your going to pay for it. Labor is the only real thing that could be cheap.

Wherever you go tape down the pin switch so that the windows dont go up and down everytime you get in our out. I had to get mine retinted because of this.

he's talking about the pin/button on the door jam. when you open the door(s), the window rolls down a bit. you want to either tape it down or drive in the screw a little (my tinter did so for install). if you don't do so, the front corner of the window is going to start peeling. i believe someone said to have the tinter round the corner out so it doesn't get caught. hope that helps

shoopajae10 03-26-2010 11:18 AM

Im going to Tritek tomorrow to get my tints done.. I've heard good things about them and they also do Jotech's gtr's and other high end cars.

But ill get some pics after its done and see how well they do their jobs.

The percentage of tint vary per state. Free Legal window tinting limits for cars and quotations are available for free at Car Tint and Home Window Tinting Quotes at TintBuyer.com : Buy, Don?t Be Sold : 3M Hurricane Window . They provide information about tints such as types, prices, laws involved in every state and help locate the best window tinters near your area. I hope this would be helpful. thanks :)

I just went to Tritek in Richardson today. They installed Formula 1 Pinnacle 15% all around on my Z. It only took them a little more than an 1hr to get the install done. I'll take pictures once the Film has had time to dry.
