Been off of this site for a while, I live in Pearland Tx. does anyone know of any 370 engine builders in the Pearland / Houston area ? My car has not been running for the last 5 months.

even with 103K miles on it?? im afraid a rod or piston my snap down the road

If an oil analysis and compression test show good numbers, go for it. These motors are stout. Whenever you boost a factory NA motor you need to have a shortblock-sized emergency fund anyway.

awesome thanks for the advice! I might just go twin turbo sooner, i was debating on rebuilding motor but Ill have to take that chance. Did you go with Jtran or Kosmic for tuning??

Chuck33079 02-05-2016 04:48 PM

Kosmic. They really know their stuff. Unfortunately, they only use Uprev. For Ecutek, you have to go with JTran. I'll be making the switch at some point here soon.
